Karen Daniels

Overview

Karen Daniels, also known as Michelle, is an undercover government operative introduced in Grand Theft Auto IV and later reappearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online as an IAA agent. She is one of the notable recurring characters connecting Liberty City and Los Santos storylines.

Grand Theft Auto IV

In Grand Theft Auto IV, Karen poses as Michelle and begins dating Niko Bellic under orders from United Liberty Paper. Her role is to monitor Niko and gather information, eventually revealing her true allegiance after catching him and Little Jacob with a bag of cocaine during The Snow Storm.

Grand Theft Auto V

By 2013, Karen works as an IAA agent in Los Santos. During Three's Company, she is seen interrogating and torturing Ferdinand Kerimov before Michael De Santa breaks into the building as part of an FIB operation.

Grand Theft Auto Online

In Grand Theft Auto Online, Karen appears during The Humane Labs Raid storyline. She works with the heist crew during the setup for the Humane Labs access codes and later helps cover up evidence after the raid.

Personality

Karen is professional, guarded and highly manipulative when working undercover. As Michelle, she carefully hides her real identity from Niko, while her later appearances show her as a colder and more direct intelligence operative.
